A full VET education consists of a basic program divided into two basic courses and a main program. VET students enrolled directly after lower-secondary school start on the first basic course, while older students enroll directly in the second basic course.

The Business College profiles (handelsgymnasium in Danish) are the cornerstone of Niels Brock. Niels Brock was the first business college in Denmark and the founder of the Higher Commercial Examination program (HHX). Today the Business College profiles account for more than 50% of all activities at Niels Brock.

Niels Brock is predominantly an upper secondary institution; however, we have always offered a wide range of higher education programs both under our own name as well as in partnership with recognized British universities.

In close cooperation with companies, we identify the competency needs of employees and together tailor an educational program that covers precisely the competencies needed.

Having a global outlook is essential for Niels Brock and international cooperation has been a part of Niels Brock’s DNA from the beginning. To start, cooperation was mostly via exchange programs, such as Erasmus, but in recent years Niels Brock has increasingly been offering our programs in partnership with local universities.
